I think Moliére's was better, shorter and to the point. And dare I say funnier? Okay, so there was mercy for don Juan on this one, but I didn't get the same feeling of justice. This don Juan was all around a bad guy who was saved by a nun tricked by him, who still loved him dearly, so they get to Heaven... like I said, nice for mercy purposes, but not as shocking as the earth opening and swallowing don Juan.
Lots of feelings concentrated.... sadness, happiness, laughs,... and considering the fact that the author wrote it in twenty one days time...that's a point!

It was quite an entertaining play, although I much rather go to the theater and see it live.
Read for Spanish class back in college. It was actually a lot of fun!
