This was an exceptionally cute and lighthearted Sapphic romance. The artwork was adorable, and I loved all of the characters! I haven't read a graphic novel in years and I'm so glad this was my introduction back into them. This was a really quick read and, just all around a joy. I highly recommend it!

**Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin Teen for the eARC. This in no way changed my opinion or rating**

This was so cute! The art style is very appealing and fluffy. I really like the character design, especially. It's nice to see a story that centers around two women of color. The romance was cute and well paced. I usually don't love a "misunderstanding" trope, but this may be the one time it was actually helpful and necessary for both characters to grow and show that they've changed over the course of the book. I like that Momo and PG each have separate lives and friends. It was nice that the whole book wasn't just their relationship, but showed both of them having a full character arc. I also really liked that the characters ask for consent and expressly state on the page that it's ok not to move too fast in a relationship without fear of the other falling out of love. That's an important aspect of relationship novels geared towards teens and I appreciated it's inclusion. Overall, I really enjoyed this title and would recommend it, especially if you like the Heartstopper series.

“to the lesbians, the women who love women, the sapphics of color - you are so loved”

Oh my gosh - RUN, don’t walk to preorder this book!!! Written and illustrated by @eunnieboo, it will be out on October 17th, 2023! It’s an incredibly sweet and touching story of an introverted, shy college girl Momo and her friendship/courtship with the flirty and mysterious PG.

There is very minimal angst in this book, and no homophobia at all (always good lol). There is so much JOY and queer love and supportive friends. I read this in one sitting, and had a huge grin on my face for most of it - Eunnie captures the sweet beginning stages of a relationship so well. Plus the art style is so soft and sweet, I’m dying for more of Momo and PG!!

Thank you SO much to @penguinteen and @vikingbooks for this ARC! I absolutely cannot wait to buy the final colorized version

This was such an adorable surprise! I loved the characters and the artwork. It was super diverse and easy to fly through.

My only issue is that I wish we would have gotten more of PG’s feelings. I would have liked for her be more vocal about what she wanted.

All in all, I enjoyed it and I hope the artist releases more like it!
