I really love the Strike series, and I’d watched the TV adaptation before reading the book (the opposite of what I’d done for the last three)
That being said, Lethal White was a really good crime story. There were so many twists and turns in the case, as well as Robin balancing her failing marriage. I enjoyed it!
I only dropped a star because there were some chapters that were hard to get through. They were inconsistent in their sizes- some were a single page, and some were 20 pages.
That being said, for a crime novel it was very good and I would say I’m looking forward to the next one but.....we all know what’s been said about that and the author....

The beginning was very slow going. Lots of set up but the last half was WONDERFUL!!! The twists and turns WOW didn’t see it coming!!
I liked this one much better than the last in the series. The same kooky characters and dark mystery that you're used to with Rowling, but with a political twist - which is a logical and satisfying direction for her.
