Down - because I waited a long time to pick up this story after the cliff-hanger from the end of the third book in this series and was a little disappointed about how that went? Or
Up - because they are still interesting characters and fun mysteries.
I love Cormoran and Robin and the other people who drive them mad. I liked the mystery of the person blackmailing the political minister.
I did not love the pacing. No-one would ever dare tell the author she could use an editor and trim down some of the redundant sections. So, I didn't just say that. But, this could have been more concise.

I didn’t love it as much as the others, but it was still pretty good. I really enjoyed the exciting conclusion.

I haven't stayed up late to finish a book in a long time. This one got really good the last 100 pages and I couldn't put it down. I am still confused about a few details, but it could just be because I was reading so fast, I missed some things.
