- KILL COUNT: 2
- PLOT: 8/10 - Wild episode, except for the fact that Silverstream gives birth after being pregnant for .2 seconds so kinda strange; but otherwise lots of juicy drama and forbidden love stories, turns out everyone is breaking the warrior code left and right
- WRITING: 8/10 - very Y/A, everything is explained ad nauseum and nothing is left to interpretation; but actually a little bit more descriptive writing this time
- RELEVANCE: 8.5/10 - We finally see Tigerclaw’s betrayal revealed and Graystripe’s loyalty is put to the test; Yellowstar takes her son’s life and Bluestar’s secrets are also revealed!
- NOSTALGIC FACTOR: 8/10 - I think one of my favorite books in terms of drama, I also feel for Cinderpaw and Bluestar so much
- PROBLEMATIC: 2/10 - use of the term “half-breeds” ? also everyone is always praying

Liked this one better than the last, but why the heck are the cats british now lmao! There's so much slang coming through their language that was not there before, it's really out of character. I suppose this is where we hit the writing issues in the series
Otherwise, I had an amazing time with this one. The end had me speed reading to find out what happens. As always I must go swiftly on to the next book immediately
