I'm invested at this point. Never at the start of this series did I really think I was going to enjoy them this much! The character development and relationships is pretty solid for it to be about cats.
this one is definitely meant to be the somber/sad book in the series, and there was definitely a forest full of secrets. it was actually really entertaining and i did tear up at one point. they always manage to leave the book on a really good cliff hanger to keep you reading, excited to see what happens in the next one!
