This book absolutely demolished me. Like, we weren't vibin' but cryin' but then love spread into my heart. Then I cried. A lot. Again. Then it ended too quickly. I read 80 pages in June and paused it and finished it one day when I finally opened it back up. Definitely recommended.

well okay then

I read this after the legacy of gods series and let’s just say a whole lot makes so much more sense now. Also, I still hate Maya.

I don't think I like Kyle

3.8 A badass couple

Okay so this wasn’t my favorite duet but I thought the second book was pretty good. I honestly couldn’t predict much about this book because there was so many little twists and turns that I swear I just couldn’t keep up with. It could be that I’m not that familiar with and sorts of mafia romances. Not that the book was bad, I actually think I like mafia romances now. Rai was pretty badass and I absolutely loved it. I also thought Kyle was a real asshole for like 60% of this duet but his crazy kind of grew on me.
