This book lines up really well with a lot of my reading lately on indigenous worldviews, other worldviews, and technology place in society to harm and to save.

Totally awe inspiring and mind blowing. Don’t expect this book to make any sense but also it will reshape your understanding of the world around you at every scale.

Lacks the focus of Bridle's previous New Dark Age, and can feel all too much like a few cobbled together JSTOR articles. The project, a universalist take on ethics and ecology, is a fine one, but the most telling line is the one where they mention the Ayahuasca trip they took during the writing of this book. Read it as pop science.

there's a bunch of scientific exaggeration and inaccuracy but it was still quite enjoyable to read and think about.
