This was a very cute, and fast read. There is a little adventure, second chance romance, and forbidden love. I definitely enjoyed reading this book, and liked the two main characters. I know this was a novella, but I kind of wish some things were explained a little more in detail. But overall, this was a very good read. I recommend this if you are looking for a fade-to-black romance with fae/gods and adventure.

The first half of the book is kinda slow but it picks up after that.

First of all, I love this book's cover. Secondly, this was a very unique story about the origins of a mythical creature, which I didn't quite expect. A quick read with a intriguing love story. This is part of the arranged marriages of the fae series though I did forget the fae aspect of this series multiple times. Characters aren't fae in the way I'm used to, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just another unique aspect of the story.

Didn’t really like the writing style and the book felt very predictable / nothing  exciting happened. The book itself wasn’t too bad just a bit boring really

Ulika tries to help her tribe by going to the Fae Mountain with the gold lamp and asking Vinn( The God of Wind) help get rid of the sand devils but the lamp is a curse. Vinn And Ulika travel across the desert and encounter some bad obsticles on the way. What they really wanted between each other love and happinesss but it wasn't meant to be or was it? A beauty story and greattly written. Really enjoyed reading it. A little intense at times but kept me reading till the end.

When I tell you, I have loved everything that Angela had written!
Ulika wants to stop the sand devils from ruining her home, so she heads to the mountains where she is not to go. Vinn is the wind who has been with her for so long, even when he traveled as human he was with her tribe.

Come to find out both of them are responsible for the sand devils so they are forced to be married by Justice and given three months to destroy the sand devils and the curse is broken, they’ll go their separate ways.

I feel like they were meant for each other beside him being a wind god and her being a fire mage even though she didn’t know it until it came time to defeat the sand devils.

Tallen is a ole hater, taking matters into his own hands and he got what he deserved.

I love that Justice saw how truly in love Vinn and Ulika were and gave them a fate that allowed them to be together.
