This is the last book in the Land of Stories series. While I absolutely loved this series and the idea behind it, I was starting to get tired of it with book 5. I almost didn't read this one but wanted to finish the series out. I'm definitely glad I did because this book wrapped up the series so nicely and had a great ending.
My only problem with this book is that it contained almost or possibly all of the characters from the previous books. There were so many characters I couldn't keep track of who was who. It was a little confusing at times but worth the read. I definitely recommend this series.

I think they ended this book amazingly. I think the epilogue was completely unnecessary, I didn't really want an image in my mind of the twins getting old. Also, why are they already turning grey if the original Fairy Godmother lived for like centuries. I would've like a confirmation that Alex and Arthur did end up together. I also feel like I kind of would've preferred if all the literary characters just stayed in the Land of Stories, it would've been more fun. Happy Red ended up adopting the lost boys.

A wonderful ending to the Land of Stories series. I love the ending with Conner and his grandchild. I could easily see a spin off series in the future with the grandchild or grandchildren trying to find out more about where Conner's books started.

An exciting and satisfying conclusion to a really fun middle grade fantasy series - we rocketed through this one.

I'll just do a review for the last one cause I don't really want to write 6 of them and I'll just what I like about the series.
I read this series a little while back, I was probably 11 and I'm 13 as of now but I can guarantee you that I would read these books even now and thoroughly enjoy it. I think that Chris Colfer did an absolutely brilliant job making the 'land of stories' and how it was like an alternate reality of sorts but he also made it where Alex and Connor's characters were very relatable! I found myself feeling so similarly to the way that Alex was at the time, like an outcast; a nerd and reading about Alex was kinda like reading about a version of myself. That sounds stupid but it's so true and these characters are just so well written! Also, with the last book or 2 the plot took quite a turn with the 'masked man' and how dark it got when the tried to kill loads of people and when Morina took control of Alex and she destroyed a ridiculous amount of NY city was a really awesome plot twist!
I'm going to stop before I go full Fangirl mode
