I liked this book, but the main relationship felt rushed once it started getting past the "lust/crush" stage, and the mythology aspects had me feeling lost at times.

I hated finishing this book. I want more Saul. I want more Randolph. I want more Green Men!!
Sometimes, I have a hard time writing reviews for KJ's books because I just love them so much and I kind of run out of accolades, and this time is no different. But I really enjoyed everything about this story from the amazing characters to the creepy, supernatural goings on. Yes, I would suggest reading the excellent The Secret Casebook of Simon Feximal first, even if it's only to be familiar with some of the players (but it is excellent reading) but it's not an absolute necessity (but go read it anyway).
I think if you generally love KJ's writing, especially the paranormal-romance books, you will enjoy this story too. It was definitely my jam - hopefully it will be yours too.
