I’m probably done with Felix I’m afraid. I tried, but I still find myself comparing him unfavorably to John Constantine. It’s not just the thin characterization; I just haven’t been very interested in the mysteries. Mike Carey is a great writer, and his prose kept me on for three books. The world building is interesting, but it’s been a slow drip.

Compared to the first two books, I didn't feel like this story was as complete. I did like the plot of this one but

I really like this series. Fix is fun and witty and the action doesn't stop. The stories are put together so well that when I get to the end I feel like I haven't missed a thing... everything falls right into place.

Nice Felix Castor mystery. The ending was abit too pat for me. It seemed like there was no real danger or tension.

The 3rd installment of this series was definitely better than the first 2. It is giving me what I need to finish this series.

In some ways I did not enjoy this book as much as the others in the series. It could be because this book more than the others actually hints at something bigger as if rather than this being more of just another independent book in the series, the whole series is building towards something. Not sure just what and is definitely worth the ride in any case.
