The "love triangle" is poorly developed and uninteresting. There's still a lot of misogynistic subtext. I'm just too tired to go into all the reasons this series should have never been popular.

I think 'Eclipse' is the book in the series that I remember the least about. I know that Victoria is an important part of the book, and that there is a huge battle between the newborn vampires and the newly founded Cullen/werewolf alliance, but other than that, I have no idea. Unimpressive, overall.

While I enjoyed this book and it was an easy read, both Edward and Jacob were insufferable and I'm team "Bella moves away". Edward is an abusive control freak, and Jacob doesn't know how to take no for an answer.
edward and jacob are really gaslight gatekeep girlbossing in this book (and not in the funny way). does bella have anyone in her life who isn’t trying to manipulate her?
