I really enjoyed Moreno's writing. It's easy to see his influences, but he still made them his own! I wouldn't say this is scary-scary, more of a literary-horror, but this was definitely weird. I think I'll get even more out of this on a re-read. I'm interested to see what he does next.

Side note: Novels written in 2nd person seem to work well for me.

bro. as im sitting here, trying to find the words to talk about this book, im just .. well, gagged.

thank you to frankies shelf (who im friends with on goodreads hehe flex even tho theyre def friends with everyone lol :p) for recommending this book on their youtube channel. i so badly wanted to see this iconic line they brought up in the book, and .. yeah it hit. i mean literal goosebumps, i had to put the book down.

gus moreno is an incredible writer- i mean i was hooked through out the whole book. super creative and will definitely be looking forward to his future works. also a fellow chicagoan which is so cool >:)
