Again- were ending books when it's not ths end.  Good story, good spice, weird choice to split up the story.

I would say this is a solid 3.5. The first one was so so good that I had high expectations for the second.

LIKES:
1) Still in love with this Power Play marriage. I love where it was going… don’t know what is going to happen with how it ended.
2) it’s a trilogy… that’s already complete. I don’t have to wait years, I am actually going to borrow the last book as soon as I publish this!
3) getting to know more about Holly. I feel like you can’t help fall in love with her. She is strong, but also vulnerable. She knows how to put herself first and I enjoy that in a lead female MC.
4) Creighton… love and hate him right now, but he makes for super

What happened to the badass mfc from the first book.

Book 2 is done and all I have to say is Holly Wix Karas is a selfish cowardly idiot. Grow some balls and a backbone. Let's hope she isn't a complete fuck up in book 3.

The second installment of the trilogy, I still like Keris and Holly together, I'm enjoying the levels of growth involved and how they interact with each others' social circles. Definitely dealing with learning more about one another, these two are dating backwards, already married and now trying to establish an actual relationship. Will be interesting to see how the final book wraps things up, but this definitely made me like Creighton a bit more and Holly is definitely learning where she draws her boundaries.

This book picks up where "Dirty Billionaire" left off, and continues Holly and Creighton's story. It's another quick and steamy read as the two main characters get to know each other better. It cannot be read as a standalone, and if you didn't like the way the first one ended, you won't like this ending either. It's on to book three for our Happily Ever After.
