I promised myself I would read this book all the way through in the 11th grade, when I attempted to read half of it in hopes of scoring about 50% on an Accelerated Reader test (I got a 7 out of 20, by the way). I finally got around to it. Better 15 years late than never, right guys?

Didn’t know this was an adaptation of an actual novel until I finished it. I was really confused in the beginning, but then it got good. I never read graphic novels, so I don’t know if this is a problem with only this one: The characters weren’t fleshed out at all, it was just so short. And the art style wasn’t my cup of tea.

Three stars for the art of Mathieu Moreau!
None for Dobbs’ textual adaptation of H. G. Wells’ story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I keep wondering why I haven't read it before now.
