It is refreshing to see characters like this. The MMC gets comfortable enough with the FMC to share his hobbies, even though he thinks they make others avoid him. Even though they are in hs this manga feels okay for adults to consume as well without it feeling to immature.

My Dress-Up Darling, Vol. 2 (My Kindle Review)

After a few personal hurdles and a short deadline, a determined Gojo is able to finish Kitagawa’s cosplay outfit and she is truly in awe at it. Her debut at the cosplay event is a huge success and it becomes the beginning of her and Gojo’s dress-up collaborating and even some smitten feelings. A (100%/Outstanding)

Marin finally gets her dream of cosplaying as her favorite character. I loved that we also got a little insight into cosplay as a whole. Like we see it all the time. But there's a lot of work that goes into it. I also love the little snippets by the author at the end. Where she goes over the research she did for the various aspects. It's so relatable and adds something extra to the manga

Idk why, but i found the second volume a bit boring, compared to the first one.
The cosplaying event was surface level. There were some things that piqued my interest, like wakano's grandpa and the new character, but overall im not as hyped anymore.

The big event! I really like the guy's earnestness and the range of emotions between the two leads. They both have their strengths, weaknesses, loves, and vulnerabilities that make them very human. It's fun seeing their back and forth and relationship developing.

I feel like the fan service is a bit less gratuitous this time, but it's still definitely there.

Initially thought I spotted a typo on page 137, but I was mistaken and it makes sense in retrospect.

Feel like there's some nuance missing in the creator comics at the end. Like some meaning is left out or not conveyed well
