I found a lot of things I could relate to during the summer in this volume.

Read it first when I was about 7, re-reading it again at 16. Strangely enough, I could relate to Greg to most of what's happening to him in this book.

- This book makes me never want to go to a public pool.
- Greg is SO mean to Rowley. Why are they even friends?
- I love how Greg thinks he is going to be rich and famous some day. He is so stinking lazy. I don't see his dreams becoming reality.
- I'm a bit of a home body myself, so I don't blame Greg for wanting to stay inside and play video games. He's gotta live it up while he is still young.
- The illustrations were funny. I loved the book covers.

Tuvo muy buenos momentos, aunque en otros creo que pudo estar mejor, sin embargo sigue siendo MUY IRÓNICO y me siento identificado cada vez más con Greg, casi somos iguales él y yo cuando tenía su edad jejejeje

Wow! Would you believe I finished another Diary of a Wimpy Kid book!? Dog Days is Greg’s unsuccessful summer. He wrecks havoc on Rowley’s family vacation by having no self-awareness/consideration for anyone but himself, and there’s persistent tension between Greg and his dad. The Heffley’s /did/ get a dog for a second, and then spoiler alert gave it away to “gramma.” Three down 15 to go.
