Good story but I didn’t connect with the characters.
GAH! I have been dying to get my hands on Daddy P and Steiner did NOT disappoint with this story. I loved the whimsical way that Chloe and Will are thrown together. I adored how these two grew together. The Sunshine vs the Grump. With little Ava thrown in. This book just made my heart happy while reading that and it was so needed. Of course there is a little bit of angst because what is a Steiner book with a tiny bit of it! But overall, I adored this story!

It wasn’t offensive or anything, I just could not actually give two hoots about any of these characters. Literally kept forgetting their names.
I love a good grumpy/sunshine and this one was fantastic! Ava was adorable. I loved the way Chloe loved Ava and how she made it her mission to make both Ava & Will happy. I loved how Will’s team mates, his uncle and even Chef showed up for them. I loved that Chloe was accepted so easily with Maven, Liv, and Grace. And I really loved Will and Chloe together. It was such a great read! It was sweet and at times emotional and y’all the spice…was spicing!
