Learn Your Lesson is AMAZING!! I don’t think I can express in the right words how much I loved this book. ❤️❤️
3.5/5 stars.
If I took a shot every time Will said he was "emotionally stunted," I would probably be in the hospital. He was a bit insufferable for a lot of this book, which kind of ruined it for me. I HATED how he treated Chloe for the majority of the book, and the way he kept doing the woe-is-me bullshit like "I don't desereve her but I can't let her go" UGHHHHHH.
But everything else was FABULOUS. Chloe, Ava, Chef, Uncle Mitch, Maven, Livia, Grace... I could go on and on and on. HEAVY on Ava--she was so fuckign funny and I loved seeing her development throughout the story.

I have been so excited for Daddy P’s story since I finished watch your mouth. I loved the found family vibe and all of the side characters are great.
And Daddy P didn’t disappoint. He was everything I look for in a single daddy/nanny trope, hot, brooding, filthy-mouthed!

Daddy P. I’ve been waiting for Daddy P. We’ve all been waiting for Daddy P. And we officially have him. He is by far one of the grumpiest to the most sunshine person. His daughter (Ava) is a little grump too, in the cutest way possible.
The way Chloe is with Ava was the most heart warming thing. The relationship we get to see develop with them is almost better than watching her break Daddy P out of his grumpy head. This book was incredibly well done when it comes to the family aspect. We don’t see an immediate change in everyone. Instead we see the small signs of changing. Not just with Ava and Daddy P, we see Chloe grow so much.
This series has me in an absolutely chokehold.

Learn Your Lesson is the third book in the Kings of the Ice series, but it can be read as a standalone.
Will Perry is the starting goalie for the Tampa Bag Ospreys. He’s grumpy and only cares about hockey and his daughter. Chloe is a kindergarten teacher, his daughter’s specifically, and she’s very kind and sweet. She eventually becomes his nanny, but that’s all she was supposed to be. Yet there was something between them that neither could ignore.
Chloe was really just a ray of sunshine. She was so good with Ava, Will’s kid, and got her to talk and smile — which was something Ava rarely did. It was so cute seeing her pretty much being Avaand Will back to life.
Daddy P (Will) was…whew. Well, he was grumpy and broody, and oh so hot. The way he cared for his daughter was adorable. But when it came to Chloe, try as he might, he couldn’t deny his attraction toward her.
There was so much tension between these two, and when Daddy P finally gave in, it was so hot. The *spicy* lessons? Whew.
But honestly, my favorite part was Chloe just making Ava and Will smile again, as well as Will showing Chloe that love does exist.
This is my favorite out of this series so far, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

We have Daddy P's story and it is so good. Will Perry, the silent, broody goalie who is usually the voice of reason for his teammates, finally finds a love of his own. And it's in the form of a bright, beautiful, sunshine of a woman who happens to be his daughter's kindergarten teacher, Chloe. His endless nanny troubles lead him to hire Chloe, despite his ever-growing attraction towards her.
I loved this story so much. Both characters have depth - Will's reluctance for love after losing his wife years ago, Chloe's reluctance of men in general. She has sworn off men for many reasons, including one unfortunate first time which ultimately leads to very spicy lessons from Will, once they give into their attraction. But the "just sex" relationships never are just sex...
Will and Chloe have great chemistry. It's funny, sweet, and oh so spicy that had me gobbling this story up within a day. I could not put it down. And I am really excited for the next book in this series (spoiler: it's not Carter's story next but I hope that is in the future...)

How can you not fall in love with this book and this couple?! I absolutely loved how Chloe brought out the best in both Will and his daughter Ava. Chloe was the heart and soul of this book. The chemistry between Will and Chloe was off the charts and the deal they make and how it goes, simply amazing! The tension that I felt while they fought their feelings was unreal. I love getting all the feelings and this book delivered. I love how Kandi always writes the most realistic sports romances. She makes sure she knows hockey and writes it perfectly. And if you don't know anything about hockey, you're good, everything is explained. The glimpse into what is next, ah, I can't wait. It's going to be so good. I love this series and I loved this book!
I also got to experience it in audiobook and O.M.G. you need this for your ears! Max Lindsey and Hannah Chiclana were *chef's kiss* and in duet audio. I wish every audiobook would be read in duet because it has definitely spoiled me for other books!
