This is definitely my favorite book in this series so far and I enjoyed the story and the characters.
Daddy P!!
I had been looking forward to this book since his character was introduced in book 1. This book did not disappoint. Chloe and Will were perfect for each other. And my heart melted every dang time Ava said “we are doing our best” she’s such a good kid. This was the perfect blend of hockey, and home life. Let’s not forget about the lessons, those were fire. I’ll never look at a popsicle the same way again.

Was eagerly awaiting this release on KU and it was absolutely worth the wait. I loved "Watch your mouth" and wasn't sure anything in the same series would top it. This absolutely did. The single dad trope apparently gets me :) The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was Chloe - I understand her character was a free spirit and not tied down by any sort of conventional stereotypes, but I couldn't resonate with her hand-sewn clothes (first of all, when did she have time to whip up a custom outfit for their trip to Disney World??) and her man-hating family. It was brought around full circle, I get it, I just had a little trouble with her. But Daddy P was spectacular.
I could not wait for this one to come out and it did not disappoint! Plus anything with the “teach me” trope is an instant win in my book! I loved their chemistry and the progression of their relationship and how they grew and changed together.
I’ve waited for Daddy P and the man served us good chapters even if he was overthinking a lot, Kandi Steiner gave us Grumpy with a scowl and I liked it. I was already smitten with Chloe and Will in the epilogue of Grace and J's book but in their book, their chemistry was as hot as my ramen noodle I swear.
Chloe and her 3 cats got my heart, with all her activities and her love for teaching children she felt so cozy she could have been the definition of a bookworm if she was into books. Her mom and Grandmother are feisty if Will wasn't taking care of her they would have made this man disappear, But her love for Ava melts my heart for their bond.
Daddy P flirting and dirty-talking i say yes hell to the yeah ma'am Steiner

I was SO excited for this but it just fell kind of flat for me.
All of the components for this to be a five star read were there but it just wasn’t it.

3.5⭐️
While I did enjoy this and it gave what it needed to give, using Tayvis at the superbowl word for word at the end threw me off. Maybe I’m just chronically online but it felt out of place. I did love Chloe and Will and always love a cutie little family.

This is book 3, and I’ve wanted Daddy P since book 1. And boy did he deliver. Honestly by only negative is that the phrase “daddy P” was not used often enough. Will was a beautiful broken man, with huge love for a fun little kid. The banter was great. The team dynamics were good. The friends were great. I can always use more team and friend time, especially with these interconnected series, but you can only fit so much in a book. Anyways. Loved it.
