Single dad/nanny is not usually my thing. But it worked in this one, maybe because we were introduced to Will and his nanny issues very well in the previous book.
I was pulled in to this book so much that I finished it all in one day.
I had no patience for Chloe’s “matriarchy” and how judgmental they were based on singular experiences. Good on Chloe for realizing it wasn’t healthy.

This was the first book in this series that I read, and I absolutely loved every second of it! Going to read the first two now, I’m not sure if they’ll top this one for me, but figure it’s worth a shot.

daddy P was worth the wait
When I say I have waiting for Daddy P’s book forever, I mean it. Go back and look at my reviews for Watch Your Mouth and Meet Your Match. I said it then. I have been hot for our goalie Daddy since he stepped on page.
I knew I’d love his book and I did but what I didn’t expect was such a deep emotional journey with Will and Chloe. Oh my goodness was I going back and forth between smoking hot to near happy/sad tears. Both Will and Chloe’s relationships with Ava was nearly too much. Ava, Will’s daughter, will get you multiple times. She has such an amazing arch considering she’s only 5. We knew Will was an incredible father but we didn’t know just how much he was carrying. Chloe had so much to her character. She wasn’t what I expected after Maven and Grace. She has this incredible outlook and her heart is always in the right place. Will and Chloe have this incredibly complex, messy, crazy kind of relationship and I was here for it. I knew, I KNEW Daddy P would be the hottest one in bed so far. Dear Lord the mouth on this man. He was all the fantastic, dirty, sexy things we love. The spice was SPICING!
How the relationship develops and the depths that are reached are just amazing. You felt like you were right there with them and rooting so hard for them. I didn’t think she could top Watch Your Mouth but Learn Your Lesson just jumped to my second favorite Kandi book behind Hail Mary.
Damnit Kandi dropping hints AGAIN. Our angry Aleks and Mia Love? We are getting a Taylor and Travis second chance romance?! MA’AM! I will not know peace until then.

ETA #2: Imma pass. The hero is extremely hot and cold under the guise of being a "grump" and constantly reminisces about his dead wife. Heroine hasn't been in love, has been celibate after losing her virginity to a dude in college. No thanks. I know this book will leave me frustrated. Honestly, Kandi Steiner is a hit or a miss with me

Kandi effin Steiner wow just wow. As this series progresses she just turns the heat up even when you didn’t think there isn’t room for it to get any hotter she still manages it!
I loved, loved, loved Chloe and Will, she was the perfect sunshine to his grumpy and I loved that she was the sunshine to Ava’s grumpy too.
Ava was adorable as a mini version of her Dad but Chloe bringing that fun side out of her was so sweet and it was a great way to show how much Chloe cared for Ava.
I’m a sucker for a single Dad but Daddy P is up there with the best, getting to watch his heart crack wide open for his bright and cheery ‘Nanny’ was so satisfying and heart warming to watch!
I did however read the popsicle scene in public and I’m not going to lie if anyone was watching me I can guarantee I was all shades of pink! Kandi absolutely outdid herself there, how does she turn these normal items into something more??? Keychains in Watch Your Mouth and now popsicles!!
