I was SO excited for this but it just fell kind of flat for me.
All of the components for this to be a five star read were there but it just wasn’t it.

Will Perry's book was my most anticipated read of this year, and it did not disappoint. He was a mystery that I wanted solved. Now I can say that I got the answers that I was looking for, and they made me like his character even more.
Chloe, a compassionate and understanding woman, was his daughter's teacher. She knew that Daddy P, as his teammates called him, was struggling to keep a Nanny. They either wanted to babysit his daughter for the money or to be closer to him and try to find a way into his heart. Too bad for them; he only had eyes for his baby girl.
One day, with a warm smile and a heart full of kindness, Chloe volunteers to watch his daughter for him after school. Ava and Chloe hit it off pretty well, and Perry was impressed. Chloe was not focused on dating. She avoided men like the plague because she knew that nothing good ever came from falling in love. Her mother and grandmother were prime examples of that. That said, she wasn't blind. She could tell that the grumpy hockey player was drop-dead gorgeous.
However, she wasn't expecting the feelings that surfaced the more she spent time with him and his daughter. First came nannying, and then came love... right?
I loved this story so much. It has easily become one of my favorite Nanny romances, a spot that Heartless held for so long. Kandi Steiner knows how to write magical stories, and this one was no different.

Loved loved loved this book! The whole thing kept me engaged but it wasn’t too long but long enough I could see the side characters too! Will and Chloe fit perfect can’t wait for this series to continue!
