Thoughts:
Okay kinda kicking myself that I took so long to read this book, but I was so happy when I did. I absolutely loved Chloe and Will, like he was REALLY not trying to fall for her but like any love story the chemistry was off the charts and there was so many tender moments between Chloe and Wills daughter. There was some emotional aspect of this book mainly around his daughter and you can really see them grow together and just the story line developed so well.

I do thing it was slightly too long but definitely loved the book!

Will is in need of a good nanny for his daughter while he continues to be the goalie for his hockey team. Chloe is Ava’s kindergarten teacher and has already established a relationship with Ava so who better to fill in as a nanny until a more permanent one can be found.

I LOVED how strong and independent Chloe was. She didn’t need this as an extra job to make ends meet. She took this job because she loves Ava and wanted to pay her family back for supporting her through her education. She knew who she was and was absolutely unapologetic about it. She did not change herself to be what a man wants.

Daddy Will! 🥵He does not disappoint. I would sign up for lessons from him any day of the week and twice on Sunday!  His character going from grumpy to laughing and smiling again was so great. His willingness to begin processing the trauma of losing Ava’s mom all those years ago allowed him to be so much better for his friends and family.

It was fine. All the tropes I usually love, but a little cheesier than I'd like. The characters were pretty self aware and didn't make dumb decisions just for the sake of it though so a solid choice if you like single dad sports romance.
