I have been waiting for Will Perry's book since book one because I just knew that his book was going to have me in shambles - and it didn't disappoint.
Listen, if the male character is a stoic, quiet, Mr.Grumpy pants - I guarantee you he's going to have you gasping for air when he's in the bedroom. I am still unwell.
First and foremost, Chloe and Will's chemistry was ELECTRIC. I wanted them to get together so badly because you could just tell that they were going to steal each others hearts. I'm also an absolute sucker for the no kissing rule because it just adds to the tension. Daddy P is Mr. Grumpy and quiet literally never smiles/laughs, but bring in literal ray of sunshine Chloe Knott whose sole purpose is to make him laugh and you have the perfect pair.
Secondly, Chloe also making it her mission to make his daughter smile more made my heart scream. Will is so grumpy and stoic that his sweet little kindergartener adopted his mannerisms. When she was always telling him that they're doing their best, please stop my heart cannot handle it. Chloe brought sunshine into their lives and slowly Ava was acting like a child which just made me want to cry.
this was one of the best opposites attract books i’ve ever read. the way they balanced each other out was EVERYTHING and i’m simply obsessed. I loved their relationship and I love that Chloe brought love and light back into Will's life after he lost his wife/mother of his child.

My fave of this series so far! Love a single dad/nanny trope. And Will was so grumpy and she was the perfect amount of sunshine. The “teach me” moments were so hot. Can’t wait for the next book.
