I saw that ending coming about 20% into the book, but man did I still enjoy reading it. I cried all the tears and I was honestly worried how Mrs. Jackson was going to make me believe that he really really did love her and only her, but she pulled through ya'll. At least for me. I was very happy with the ending..except..yeah maybe a longer epilogue.

Sigh.. the boys of Sunder have my heart. They really do. Ash.. he might have dethroned Lyrik!!
These 2 have spoken to my heart in such ways very few do!
Love is so powerful it can heal, it can hurt.. I cried with them.. for the twist that fate has dealt them..
AL Jackson had done it again with Stay!
I really have to come up Wouk better words for this review but right now I'm too wrapped up in it!! I'll have a hangover for days after this!!

DISCLAIMER: I read an ARC of this book. Thank you Amy!

Oh my gosh! People, prepare to have your hearts ripped out, torn to shreds, stomped on the floor, then delicately pieced back together with such gentleness that you won't know what to do with yourself. Have a box of tissues handy.

Ash Evans; we know him from the other Bleeding Stars novels, as the notorious flirt of Sunder. It is so hard not to love Ash. Every bit of his character stays with you. I absolutely could not stop reading once I started. ASH HAS FINALLY MET HIS MATCH! Willow's character is so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. And when it all falls into place later, you are forever lost in the book. So amazing. So broken, but so beautiful.

This was an unexpected heartfelt journey that had me laughing and crying. What a wonderful story about two broken souls being brought together and finding what was missing. Can't wait for the next one in the series.

3.5 the romance is great, the twist turned me off

The romance in this one was pretty sweet and very emotional. Ash has a near death experience and Willow is the one who saves him. It clearly gives them a unique connection, that feels even deeper for some reason. I liked the majority of this book, what I didn't like was towards the end.

For the most part Ash is reluctant to fall for Willow. He's connected to her, but he's sure it's just because she saved him. So he wants to repay her by giving her a job to help decorate his bedroom. She redesigns old furniture, so she's perfect for the job. I really loved reading about these two and their little moments and the build up to their relationship.

Something that was vaguely hinted at the entire time and to me was extremely obvious by the second time either thing was mentioned by either MC. I just didn't like the revelation and the circumstances. I realize it's fiction, but.... it was a turn off for me.

Any way...

All in all a good read minus the twist for me. Some people loved it though, judging from reviews, it just wasn't for me.

After the last book in this series, I said I was done with it. But this came out and I just couldn't resist. I'm glad I gave in because this one was a marked improvement. I give this one about 3.5 stars but I'll round up to 4 because I enjoyed it so much more than the prior book.
