If I could, I'd give it 3.5 ⭐️
I understand that when you're trying to set up a scene or a world, you describe and explain a few things. Unfortunately, this book had too much description and explanations to the plot/character development ratio. I felt like everything had to be explained first before we got to a dialogue or a plot movement. Easily could've held back some of those explanations, or rather incorporate them into the story in some other ways, like a chat between friends or something.
Singular point of view is also not my favourite because I always feel like we're losing half of the plot when we don't have the other MCs' point of view.

Honestly it was too chaotic for me. Everyone is out for her so it’s like I couldn’t focus on what was happening because I was just trying to dissect what they were saying to try and tell if they were genuine or bullshitting.
Also there’s literally no shot the characters are over 18. It’s ridiculous. They could have literally solved all their problems and been bonded or mated or whatever the fucking word should be when she met him at the park. Also I don’t like how they say mate all the time when they’re talking about fucking. It’s confusing as fuck. Like “you’re my fated mate. we mated but you’re not my mate.” that’s just too much.
