I liked the series. I think there was a lot of potential there, but I don’t see why it needed to be 3 books. There were pages and pages of long descriptions and monologue that drove me insane. I ended up skipping some most of the time. Author should have let MMC and FMC have a true conversation about everything. I understand Gem was upset about it, but she was acting childish.
Had to DNF at 50% I tried but this whole book could have been avoided If the fmc and mmc had just had one conversation right at the BEGINNING of the book
