The book is mainly told through Tom's perspective, and Crystal really takes a backseat. Less of a discovery of their drag queen identity and more a general reflection on life as a queer person. Really eye opening, emotional, and funny - but way too long. The book had lots of "almost endings" where it felt complete.

Pretty graphic/sexual, but in a humorous way. Don't read if you're uncomfortable with sex talk, kinks, and bodily fluids (all of them).

I really enjoyed the audiobook, I think getting to hear this memoir in the voice of the author really added a lot to my experience of this book.
