  • it was a bit cringe but not awful for this genre
  • the politics were a big part of the story but also just did not make sense in a lot of ways
  • it was easy to see that Falcon was the guy she talked to online from the beginning and i was kinda surprised it took her that long to figure it out
  • insta-love also was a big part of this which i am not usually a big fan of - like the MMC Scott had no reason to like or trust her yet invited her to the ball so she could become his mate after they talked ONCE ???
  • i did like the pack's dynamics with each other though of most of them being intimate with each other
  • things just happened way too fast for me to fully like though, it felt very rushed and like it was made based more on tropes than a specific plot
  • her brother also just was very absent from even just her mind for someone who was her 'favorite person ever' and who she was 'super attached to', like once she was in the pack he was barely ever even thought about
  • there is another book in the series but i personally think this would have been more than fine as a standalone, so i will not be moving on to the second as i don't care about it enough lol

Omegaverse RH. It's such a perfect blend, the whole designated role in a pack and how they all interact together. What makes Rebel stand out, is the way that this pack does not fit their designations. I loved the twists between what the rest of the world sees and what those closest to you see. There are two stories going on here, the story of how a "bad" omega finds her place in the perfect pack and then there is the story of the Omega resistance, those who think that Omegas should have some say in their own autonomy and not just bow down to every Alpha that demands it. This book is so good, I read it in one sitting and now I don't know what to do with myself!

The princess got her prince. I love how, in these books, there is always someone fighting against their parents for their freedom and the safety of their pack. This was cute because Mister Senator ensured everyone in his pack felt safe and understood.

Another cute omegaverse that I recommend.

The absolute grip omegaverse books have on me is insane. I have some really strong feelings on both ends of the spectrum in regards to this book. I loved the characters, the relationship dynamics, the complex universe, and the story over all. I didn't like the speed of the read, the beginning was so well paced and then you get to the last 1/3 of the book and it seems like so many events occur so quickly. I also thought the few "plot twists" or "reveals" were extremely obvious and I had connected most of the dots early on in the story. Overall a good and addictive read.
