Bullet point review:
-Even better on the second read. The first time I was speeding across the pages at the end because I was anxious about how it was gonna play out. This time I could read slower and appreciate the action more. It still feels like it went fast and could have had a bit more buildup somehow to the rescue, though.
-Skippy is great and I love him
-I miss Sam
-The cover art really does not match my image of Meg haha
-I teared up when Jean got the jar of honey

A brilliant sequel to "Written in Red". The Courtyard residents face new dangers as the plot around them thickens. We get to meet new characters and more of the Others culture and world. I’ve listened to this book with the great narration by Alexandra Harris and I was captivated from the very first minute.
