This book took me on a journey. I had no idea it was a paranormal/supernatural romance(?) (not really a romance) and it took me an embarrassing long time to figure that out but once I did, my entire perception of this book changed. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Did I also hate it? Also yes. I’m so conflicted lmao. If you’re thinking of reading this book, please check the content warnings first!
My first book by this author. I noticed it changed a couple of times to first person which was a little odd, but I think it was just missed in the editing process. It took a turn I wasn't expecting that I would have liked to see explored a little more. Overall, however, I enjoyed it and would check out this author again.

That was unexpected. It was hot..It was sexy. Wow. Definitely jumped into my top 10 for this year. The premise was unexpected and the way the author approached the supernatural theme was sexy as hell!!! A must read for sure. 5 stars. #BringSparePanties

Seraph was annoying to say the least. Trying to act as if Damon was related to her. To the extent of acting like the idea of them being a couple would induce nausea. The intimate scenes were just meh. That is where the writing fell flat for me. I did enjoy the fantasy aspect of the story.

A super entertaining and steamy romance novela.
I was not prepared for how steamy it is neither the little pnr surprise element in it!
I am a little obsessed and know I will return to this many more times. Its a fun time and a well fleshed out storyline despite it being a novella.
