I struggled with this one, showing my lack of stamina for the pretentious supposed higher class ways. And then it ends with everyone being stupid. I don't plan on continuing since it's so obvious HOW she got knocked up by the werewolf husband since he turns human when touching her and I can't abide reading more of the stupidity, let alone her being punished for it.

Ok here's the thing. This book, while enjoyable, was very predictable. I did enjoy the introduction of some characters from the past. I am very interested in seeing how this plays out.
Didn't have quite the same magic for me as the first one. There were some parts that really didn't sit well with me, and the ending made me angry on Alexia's behalf. There were moments that she was mean in the book as well, so honestly, just a lot characters I loved in Book 1 were lacking their usual charm in this one.
