I absolutely love these books. WAY more than I thought I would. I want Lord Akeldama living next door to me.
How dare this silly, fun, smart book make me weep at 3am and then just end! Honestly, I should have seen that coming.
Audio book review. Narrator: Emily Gray
I very much enjoy this narrator. I liked the story, but I don't think I'd have enjoyed it as much if I were reading a hard copy or ebook. The only negative is that there are still several places with POV switching, but much less than the first book.
I love the introduction of Genevieve Lefoux and everything about her, maybe even more than I like Alexia (but not by much). If I read same-sex stories, it's normally m/m relationships, but I found I thoroughly enjoyed the addition of the f/f interaction. I'm glad that this series is complete so that I can start on the next book immediately.

I love this series. Don't love the cliffhanger ending, but considering I have Blameless in my possession, I'm not too concerned.
In the 2nd book of this series, we find out a lot more about Lord Maccon and his origins. Alexia finds out a lot of things about herself. She finds herself questioning friendships. She makes a new friend, and loses one. We learn that one of her sisters is truly horrible, though the other one is too. And Ivy...well...Oh, and wait till you get to the end!
