I'm DYING to read the next book, Blameless. I actually pre-ordered it, which is something I rarely do.
Changeless was a little slower than Soulless for me, but the ending more than made up for it.

This was a disappointing follow up to Soulless. Soulless was fun and unique. Changeless sort of brought out the worst in everyone. Ivy was extremely obtuse and self-centred. She had a bit more snark and sass in Soulless, but she was plain stupid in Changeless. Conall went around doing whatever and never properly communicated with Alexia unless she made him. He was also really horrible in the end. The romance was lacking and the whole book felt drawn out.
I really loved the atmosphere and this made me so obsessed with airships of the 19th century that I even watched a document about them.
This was interesting to follow, because there was something strange/mysterious happening and it wasn't easy to guess what was behind that all.
Now I'm ready for the next one :)

This book, like the first, was so much fun but the ending made me very angry. However, it went well with the story so I am only angry for Alexia, not because the ending was bad.
I would have given this 5 stars if I had not been so upset with the ending. I enjoyed the book - not quite as much as the first - but still enough to give it a solid 4 stars. Carriger's writing is so full of wit, sarcasm and cleverness that she has been added to my list of authors to watch for. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.
