I'm still reeling, I have no words for how important this is to the overarching plot and just how fantastic it is. This is much needed backstory, and it had better get its due when it ends up adapted because this was phenomenal. Asagiri outdid himself this time, and I had to put this down quite often because I was so attached. This is one I would highly recommend to anyone interested in the series, not as an opening by far but as something to supplement, and an extremely important piece of work in the timeline.
