This book is a verrrrrrrry SLOW burn. But it’s nice. It doesn’t have a cliche ending but it does feel a little lukewarm given that the lead up to the end takes place over the course of more than 5 years. Nice nonetheless. 3.75 but rounding up.

It was fine, great beach read. Enough to be entertaining. Cute storyline, good character development, good chemistry, and just a little steamy. Well-rounded book, but I wanted just a little bit more chemistry. The ending and character growth felt rushed in the last 5 chapters.

Really enjoyed and I am definitely adding PEI to my list of places to visit. I really like the characters and their dynamics. The ending could have more   but don’t we usually want books we really love to last longer.
