I thought I was going to love this book. So much felt like filler with endless descriptions that didn’t matter. Lucy and Felix’s instant love from their first summer didn’t feel real and I couldn’t connect with them. And Bridget holding her secret the whole book was frustrating and anticlimactic. When it was finally revealed I felt nothing. The story dragged and the characters never really came to life.
