Great book, but was missing something compared to Every Summer After and One Golden Summer. Likely because it’s an older book. Definitely recommend reading her older stuff first.

Okay, so Carley Fortune really said “let’s give you a summer fling you’ll still be thinking about in December,” and I fell for it…hard. The beach town vibes? Immaculate. The chemistry? Off the charts. The kind of romance that makes you want to pack a bag, head for the coast, and maybe kiss someone you shouldn’t.

Sure, a few moments felt a little predictable, but honestly? I didn’t care. I was too busy swooning, blushing, and daydreaming about having a summer that definitely won’t be different because I’ll be rereading this.
