LOVE the movie so I knew I had to read this, and predictably I loved the book as well. I love Lomeli as a character, I love Bellini and Ray, and Sister Agnes. Just such an interesting group of people to write about. Love the absolute drama. Truly my only criticism is that the end felt very abrupt. I would’ve wanted just a calm moment of Lomeli’s thoughts about the new Pope to round out the story a bit.

This is such a great book. Beautifully written, the characters felt real. I’m so glad I’ve decided to read this after watching the movie. I’ve always been interested in all the mysteries surrounding the Church and this has been a pleasure to read.
