if you are interested in learning more about the facts of the Lizzie Borden case, then read this book. this gives an unbiased telling of both sides and leaves you to amazingly baffle at this infamous unsolved mystery. I absolutely love this story in history! sometimes the book does get a little wordy though.
Graphic: Murder
What I learned from this book: Maybe Lizzie Borden didn't do it, after all. The problem I had with this book, though, is the fact that at the beginning the author claims that he is simply going to lay out the facts and let readers decide for themselves what they think. But this book was hardly an unbiased presentation of facts - the author clearly thought that Lizzie didn't kill her parents. It makes me feel like I need to read an "anti-Lizzie" book to get a more balanced perspective. Still, I thought the book was a well-written account of the Borden murders. I was able to get through the whole thing, which is saying a lot because I don't usually read non-fiction (unless it's a memoir).
