Every marginalized group is entitled to wish fulfillment romance, and the queer and kink rep, diverse cast, and cozy vibes were great, as usual from Rebekah Weatherspoon. It's just that every time I read about a tech millionaire / billionaire, Elon Musk pops up in my imagination, and I feel kinda queasy, so that really harshed my vibe with this story. YMMV
