I stayed up far too late finishing this book in one sitting. Meegan was absolutely delightful and I'm so glad she finally gets her happy ending. Olin is my favorite kind of hero, straightforward and curious to learn. I absolutely adore Rebekah Weatherspoon's cozy romances. The only note is that while this can be read as a standalone there are a lot of side characters and situ tions from earlier books that prior knowledge would definitely enrich Megan's backstory.

I struggled to connect with Meegan and Olin, which surprised me because the characters are such a strength in Weatherspoon’s other books. I think it was partly all the teaching around BDSM and kink that Meegan and the side characters did for Olin - it felt a little too didactic. I appreciated that the teaching was necessary for the plot and their strong communication, but it ended up adding a layer between the characters and me.

OH MY GOD
Don't talk to me. Incredible, Amazing, Fantastic. I genuinely loved every minute of this. I have been excited for this book since I read Rafe last year and I am so happy with the result.
If I had any notes I would say that I didn't love how Olins melt down in The Club was responded to by the other characters. I thought it could have been a good time for the owners of the club to think about possibly having autistic friendly nights where loud music is minimized but instead it was very focused on Olin accommodating himself if that makes sense.
Overall I thought this was like genuinely excellent. Rebekah Weatherspoon is an under rated treasure and I highly recommend this series
