Penny debe ser el personaje más nefasto e insoportable que he leído en mucho tiempo. No sé como lo terminé, pero denme mi medalla por hacerlo.

To immature for me at this time… idk why when middle grades are fine

it was good, started off slow but also the ending just felt almost abrupt…? still good though.

Fun, quick read

I am full of fluff now, and I've cried, and I've grinned and smiled.

Cute little ya book.

Emergency Contact is definitely my least favorite of Mary H.K. Choi's works, however it's still a wonderful read! Emergency Contact is a cute story, along the lines of any romance that begins with the main character in their first year in college. It's fairly predictable but also deals with what would happen if you didn't interact with someone outside of texting-- sharing a lot of personal details about themselves in the process and opening up to each other when they won't go to anyone else. It's definitely on the list of 'I'd read it again'!

Annoying characters.

I loved this book! The writing, the characters, the humour... I love how the relationship between the two main characters evolved and came to be, and also how we as the reader got to see their relationships with other people around them. Will definitely pick up Choi's second novel!
