Le tome 4 marque un tournant pour la saga. C'est à partir de celui ci que la saga quitte peu à peu son côté enfantin des trois premiers pour devenir plus sombre.
J'ai adoré ma lecture en globalité, je regrette seulement les longueurs dans la dernière partie du roman.
J'ai hâte de continuer ma relecture.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE

What made me beam with excitement: I know for a fact I've spent a whole entire week reading a book but I'd probably deny it if asked. J.K.'s writing style improved so much from her previous three books, the story flowed smoothly. It didn't feel like reading pages from a book but rather like I was part of a movie, like all this scenes painted before my eyes were merely memories from a past life. I'm pretty sure J.K.'s a witch and her books are Pensieves!
What put me off a little bit: The characters, or rather, how biased I've become towards some of them. As the story developed, I couldn't help myself but to judge them as if I was a role-model or had the right to do so. I know that's what a good book's supposed to do, wreak havoc upon your mind and make you question stuff but, it kind of got to me and annoyed me to no end to have to stop at every end of chapter to rant and let some of the steam off. I may be quite childish in behavior but I don't like the feeling...
Gotta spread the love: I simply adored Dumbledore (well, duh), Hagrid (my feels!) and Dobby (awesomesauceness in house-elf form). Sirius (you can be my godfather anytime), Gred and Forge (I refuse to contain my love for them), and Snape (THE best BAMF ever) rock my socks. I wouldn't mind Bill (FAAAPP, HE'S HOTT!) or Krum (shaddap, I'm not crushing on the guy) asking me for a date.
On the darker side of life: I seemed to dislike Cho, Fleur, Pansy, Lavander and Parvati for most if not all of the book for some odd reason. Percy makes me wanna throw up (which makes me feel guilty in turn what with him being a Weasley and all). Rita Skeeter needs to be stunned or something, seriously. The Lestranges should just burn in Hell.
What this book taught me: CONSTANT VIGILANCE!
Favorite Quote: "If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals." — Sirius Black, page 525.
Favorite Chapters: Chapter Thirty-Three; The Death Eaters. Chapter Thirty-Five; Veritaserum.
Side Note: I listened to the audiobook while reading to the book. It slowed down the process quite a bit but damn, it made the experience that much more worth it. The voices and intonations gave me the chills down my spine at times... I shall worship Stephen Fry as the god he is from now on! (J.K. Rowling being Goddess herself, of course).
