Another excellent work by Jeph Loeb. This was fast paced, and it was well written. An interesting take. I am not usually a fan of time travel tales, but this one was definitely excellent. Overall, a good read.

Seeing alternate Wonder Woman, and how having parents could change Bruce Wayne's existence was quite a treat. I would love to read some more volumes like this- mainly because they always blame Bruce's behavior on his Batman experiences and not so much his Justice League days.

An enjoyable what-if tale/time travel tale. What if the Kents died and the Waynes lived and Superman and batman essentially became world dominating tyrants.

not great literature, but fun nonetheless.

What would the world be like if Batman and Superman were despots rather than heroes? Plus, we get to see Batman and Superman kill and be killed - numerous times over.

I thought the story had a lot more promise than what it actually ended up being. I didn't like some of the premises/psychological implications of certain aspects of the story - i.e.
Spoilerthat certain people are either inherently good or bad, and that, even under radically different set of circumstances, their underlying core will remain. I suppose you could say that this isn't necessarily there in the story - that it's more about how the original timeline bled through into the changed timeline, but that comes with it's own host of problems.
And there's a reason why I don't like time-travel in stories.

It was well drawn, and had some decent moments of pathos and whatnot, but, mostly, it seemd like an excuse to throw in a bunch of DC characters - allies, enemies and other - into a story with the two heavy hitters.

I haven't read the others in the series, being under the impression that they work as standalones. This one did have a self-contained story-arc, but, perhaps if I'd read the others, this one would make more sense? (Based on some of the reviews on amazon, though, this isn't necessarily the case.)

Anyway - decent story, but I expected much more from it.

That was amazing. I definitely feel the bromance now. Pretty sure I want to own this collection. It was an emotional rollercoatser with two of my favs: time travel and alternate universes/timelines. <3

Really good. Interesting and pretty thought provoking as all with some touching parts. I really am going to have to read and collect the whole series!
