Short and on point

I do wish the story would have been dreper and a tad bit longer. It was less than an hour read overall and still I have question What happened to the one last faithful friend standing. Guess I Will never know. Anyways it wasnt bad, but it lacked depth and continuity

"I know that it is silence that kills people, silence that rips people apart"

It was indeed a quick and emotionally read and I liked that the author is giving descriptions as to why nobody can be blamed for someone's suicide.
"Maybe it wasn't anyone's fault. Maybe people just like to blame others for someone's death because it makes it easier to deal with when they can be mad at some-one. Maybe the only thing to blame for suicide is depression."

Although I felt really touched and spoken to at some parts, at some parts I just did not.
There were many problems and difficulties to come over and process, the book was probably, in my opinion, too short to unravel it all.

The end felt, also in my opinion, very rushed and it didn't feel like we were by Rachel's side, as she dealt with her recovery - but that we were rather reading a summary of why she tried to unalive herself and then why she was finding appreciation in her life.
(Which isn't bad, please appreciate yourself and know that you are highly worth it!!)

All in all, I will not forget the book and do not think it was badly written. I think my problem is just that it was too short for that kind of topic.

I just couldn’t read it anymore. It didn’t not get my attention. I will try to read it again at a later date.

This was a good story, but very short and did not have much character development. It gives a general idea of how some people are impacted by mental illness, but could explain things a lot better.

the ending felt rushed and that kind of ruined everything else.

Going in I knew it was a very short story but I didn't expect the ending to be so sudden and rushed. It started out really good though.

A very quick read. It's such a good read to raise awareness!
