I don’t usually have a problem with jumping timelines but I did here. Also too many prominent characters without much to them, still can’t remember who was who. Also thought they were pretty shitty friends? I was just here for Harriet and Wyn. Didn’t need the rest, which probably makes this not the greatest book. Book Lovers is much better.

This book made me want to eat lobster and call my friends. Super cute, and heartbreaking, and all of the feels.

SpoilerI know the whole premise of the book was the fake dating trope, but I really wasn’t a fan of Wynn putting Harriet into that situation. Also, that’s a lot of loans for a table maker and potter to deal with… I know Harriet had to come to her own choices, but damn girl.
