I finished this book in 2 days. As an author who has run unsuccessful Facebook ads, it was nice to read someone that has found success with it. This is a book I will read and re-read as I craft new ads in the future. Recommended for authors who want get better results with Facebook ads.

Good read

This gives a very easy to understand explanation of how to create and use Facebook ads. I just created my first one and we'll see how it goes

Good author marketing book

This is a good book for authors who haven’t done Facebook advertising before. If you’ve done some then it may not give you the detailed in depth knowledge that you’d be looking for but for beginners or intermediates it’s a great book with some hints and tips thrown in. It’s got good examples, pictures and explanations of ‘how to’ actually create ads as well as examples of styles of wording.

This is an excellent intermediate-level book on Facebook ads. No fluff, so it feels short for the price, but the pointers I picked up gave me some ideas on branching out beyond the one ad I've previously managed to get a positive return on investment for. Basically --- if you've taken Mark Dawson's free intro course, have done a bit of playing around on your own, and are trying to figure out how to reach the next level, this book is an excellent fit. Plan to use it when you're willing to throw away about $50 on failed ads then spend another $300+ before you get your royalties back from Amazon.

(Also, if you're not ready to plunk down $6 just yet, you can enjoy several of the key points in the author's interview on the Science Fiction and Fantasy Marketing Podcast.)
