آه خیلی حرص خوردم، خیلی ناراحت شدم، ولی عمیقا لذت بردم. خوشحالم که 2022 رو با این کتاب تموم می‌کنم و واقعا کتاب به‌یادماندنی‌ای برام هست. نویسنده خیلی حرف‌ها برای گفتن داشت، و تک‌تک‌شون رو قبل از اینکه متوجه بشم توی مغزم حکاکی کرد. یه شاهکاره حقیقتا. :(

Scarlett is too selfish for my taste. Her relationship with Rett should’ve never happened the way it did. He knew she cared for him but still “loved” Ashely. Their relationship was toxic. She would never have cared more for him and allowed for herself to love him with everything he told to her in the past.

I found myself simultaneously frustrated with and championing Scarlet. An absolute page-turner and a peak into southern culture during a defining moment in American history however fictional the story may be.
